All About Mrs. Villegas
Hi! I'm Mrs. Villegas. I will be one of your 6th grade teachers this year. I set this page up to help you get to know a little bit about me.
I was born in Honolulu, Hawaii and lived there for several years before moving to California with my family. We lived in California for a couple of years before moving to Arizona when I was in the 4th grade. I attended elementary through high school here in Arizona. I even met my husband, Mr. Villegas, in high school. Believe it or not we lived 5 houses down from one another! We got married when I graduated from college (the first time) and are now proud parents of three children. Xavier is our oldest, he is three and we have 7 month old identical twin girls. We are busy, busy, busy but feel super blessed to have them in our lives. I received my Bacholors in Education from NAU and we made the decision to move back down to the valley so that I could follow my dream of being a teacher. This year will mark my 7th year of teaching, but my first in the PV district. This is my 3rd year in 6th grade, I also taught 1st grade for two years and Kindergarten for two years. I am thrilled to be working for the PV district as I am a product of this district. I attended North Ranch Elementary, Desert Shadows and graduated from Horizon. One thing you will learn about me is that I LOVE to learn! I love it so much that I went back to school and received a Master's in Education in 2010. I am looking forward to learning along side you all as we jump into the all important 6th grade year! Thanks for taking the time to get to know me a bit better. I look forward to getting to know you all soon! |
